4 Reasons Why You Should Write Your Book

It's about time, don't you think?

I can't tell you how many people I run into that share their story with me.

You know the one.

The one about that book that they've started (and never finished.)  Or even worse, the one about the book that they've ALWAYS WANTED to write, but never even got started.

You see, it kills me to hear it...over and over again.

If you know you have a story inside of you to share with the world – there has NEVER been a better time to hit ship on your book.

And when people tell me about their excuses, I give usually give them one of these four reasons why they should go for it!

  1. Legacy, baby. Your book (published) is something to share that will be useful for generations to come.  At the very least it's a legacy for your family to have, hold and pass down through the years.
  2. The world needs your message.  Think about it for a sec.  If you have something to share, there's a reason for it.  Stories, knowledge and wisdom don't just grow on trees.  There's a reason you have it and...I've got to say....it's actually a bit selfish if you don't share it.
  3. There's never been a better time to self-publish.  With technology and social media in place pretty much in all corners of the world, you can reach just about anyone with your message.  And it doesn't take much time at all to hit publish.  When I finish an eBook, I can literally have it up and selling on Amazon that very same day!
  4. Make money while you sleep!  It's true.  You can easily sell your book on Amazon, iTunes, Barnes and Noble, etc. all online and wake up in the morning to see your book sales.  It makes a nice extra source of income, that's almost 100% passive.

If you have ANY other excuses at all after reading this – it's probably some form of resistance, doubt, or fear.  And if you're really ready to move forward with your book, check out my most popular online course, Write.Ship.Sell.

Happy Shipping!
