On my walk yesterday, I encountered two women having a conversation in the middle of the sidewalk.
They were chatting away when this man walked by, and frustrated that they were blocking the sidewalk, began cursing at them, telling them to have an awful Easter, etc, etc.
I was headed there way, and my reaction was to turn to the women while I walked past and say, "Namaste."
For those of you not familiar with the term, the simple definition of the greeting means - the light in me sees the light in you.
They smiled at me, and started yelling "Namaste" to the man, who was already far ahead of them.
While continuing my walk, I thought to myself, what on earth could make this man so angry at these strangers, that he felt the need to shout at them? And what make these ladies think they could take up the whole sidewalk?
